The Rocket Fest Outing and Dunes were a blast!
 
Troop 308 conquered the dunes at Warren Dune State Park
 
Recent:  May Outing
We camped at a private chestnut and apple orchard situated on 100+ acres of land overlooking Lake Charlevoix in northern Michigan.  The lake was a short walk down the hill from the orchard where we will have private beach lake access.  Whiting Park, with its 160 acres of beautiful forest land, is located across the street. 
There were lots of opportunities for outdoor requirement sign offs!

 

Upcoming:  June Outing

Our next outing is on June 19th – 21st in the beautiful Huron Manistee National Forest.  We will be camping in a rustic camp ground overlooking the Au Sable River.  We plan to canoe down the river on Saturday. This was one of the favorite outings two summers ago.  Sign up for the outing now!
